Living in the Los Angeles area exposes you to a lot of live Electro DJ’s and Artists.
There has been a huge response from scene lately.
Thanks to the huge success of great artists like Franki Chan (IHEARTCOMIX), L.A. Riots, Steve Aoki (DIM MAK), DJ AM and Acid Girls, and Villains Los Angeles has been able to hold its own in the World Electro Scene along with South America, Europe, and Japan. I have been searching for some new up and coming producers that will keep the torch burning. To name a few KeenHouse, Lazrtag, Killed by Synth, Dan Sena, On Off On, Synthamatic, After Midnight, Whiskey Pete and Bobby Bustle have really caught my attention lately. All of these acts really put on an incredible show. High energy teamed up with great production! No one really should sleep on these guys.
The proof is in the puddin!
Peep my 1st Los Angeles Artist review of Bobby Bustle.
After seeing Bobby Bustle tear it up right before Chuck Inglish of
The Cool Kids last Saturday @ TILT, I was convinced. With HARD
hitting beats, smoothed out synths, and lyrics that stick in your
mind, Bobby Bustle came correct. I’m proud to share these
exclusive UNRELEASED TRACKS with everyone. These are
the same awesome tracks that had the whole room jumpin!
Straight SOLID!
Peep these DJ FRIENDLY ORIGINAL TRACKS!
You can’t deny the MAD STEEEZ!
and be sure to stop by his Myspace and give him some L.O.V.E.

So this is the New Myspace Music Player. It’s she lovely. I’m not going to lie. I’m digging the new look Tom. I not going to hesitate in saying this is a huge improvement, visually, to the old player.

BLOW UP LA !!!! 5-21-08 !!!! AHHHHHHH!!!
I didn’t have to work last weekend so naturally things had to get crazy. Me and a photographer buddy of mine cruised down to BLOW UP LA to see Los Angeles’s finest DJ’s Royal Rumble and LAZRTAG bring the house down and meet up with my buddy DJ DASH. This is Rolando.

Check out these Artists!!

You might now him better at YOUNG SLEEK. He does photobooth and roaming photography for parties all over LA. He’s like Waldo, he’s always there, you just have to find him. But tonight he was not working and had left his massive camera at home so I was left to record the debauchery. After a sparks and a 24 ounce in the parking lot we were ready to get in line, if we could find it. If you’ve ever been to a BLOW UP event then you know its a roaming party. It moves from warehouse to club to warehouse, probably do to the host’s need to throw crazier and crazier parties. Getting into the party was easy enough though it was past 11 so we had to pay more but thats ok, its BLOW UP LA. Then this dawg drove up and parked in front of the club. I think he was somebody’s DD. HAHA. By the time we got inside and met up with DJ Dash, I was already sweating. We hit the bar for 2 dollar energy drink and vodkas. The vodka, Cheap. The energy drink, Monster. I got 2.

After we got our drinks we headed into the fray. Did I mention Royal Rumble was spinnin? It was amazing, even though Russ was late. Dan said he forgot his laptop. That’s like a guitarist forgetting his guitar. He showed up though and too it to another level. By then it was packed and all that bodyheat was building. With no Central Air and record heat pouring down on los angeles it was so hot I was soon shirtless. Thanks for catching that SHADOWSCENE. Oh, and this is Anne Lee. She’s the one who makes it all happen. Thanks Anne Lee.
